Nine-year-old Mst. Neha is a bright and polite girl who studies in Class 4 and dreams of becoming a successful person one day. After the death of her father in 2020, her family has been struggling to survive in a crowded camp where her 65-year-old grandfather, Hazrat Ali, works as a hotel laborer earning only 6,000 BDT per month to support Neha, her mother Sabina, younger sister Mim, and grandmother Fajila Begum. Recently, Neha became seriously ill with fever, vomiting, and severe diarrhea, and doctors at New Evercare Hospital diagnosed her with acute watery diarrhea, a condition that spreads easily in their camp due to unsafe water and shared toilets. Because of their extreme poverty, the family cannot afford the necessary treatment and medicines. After learning about Helpster Charity through another beneficiary, they are seeking help, as without proper treatment Neha could become severely dehydrated and the illness could become life-threatening for a child.

Mst. Neha was admitted with acute watery diarrhoea on 08.03.2026. At admission, she was suffering from frequent loose stools, vomiting, fever, and dehydration. The doctor started immediate treatment, including intravenous fluids, medications, and close monitoring. With proper medical management and nursing care, her condition gradually improved. Her vomiting and diarrhoea decreased, her fever subsided, and she was able to take food and fluids normally. After successful treatment and recovery, she became stable and was discharged safely on 11.03.2026.

The doctor has recommended immediate hospital admission for Mst. Neha so that she can receive proper hydration, feeding, and other supportive care. With timely treatment, her fluid levels can be restored, her weakness will improve, and she will have a strong chance of making a full recovery. Supportive therapy will help her body regain strength and prevent further complications. However, if she is left untreated, her dehydration may worsen rapidly, leading to severe illness and possible organ failure. Without urgent care, this condition could become life-threatening for such a young child.
