Five-year-old Robaida Khatun is a cheerful and kind-hearted girl who lives in a small village with her father, mother Mim Khatun, elderly grandmother, and younger sister. Her father works hard to support the family, but their limited income makes it difficult to meet daily needs, leaving them unable to afford medical treatment. For the past three years, Robaida has been suffering from painful swelling in her right hand, which doctors diagnosed as hemangioma and advised surgery as the only effective treatment. Without the operation, the swelling may continue to grow, causing more pain and limiting the use of her hand as she grows older. After learning about Helpster Charity through a RUDO health worker and later receiving guidance from Dr. Arif, her family has come forward with hope, seeking support so Robaida can receive treatment and continue dreaming of becoming a doctor one day.

Robaida Khatun was a cheerful little girl who had a swelling on her right forearm, which made her uncomfortable and shy. Despite financial difficulties, her parents brought her to the hospital on 15 April 2026 for treatment.After examination, doctors diagnosed her with a hemangioma and performed a successful surgery to remove it. Following the operation, she recovered well and was discharged in stable condition with proper advice and medications. Now, Robaida is healthy, happy, and able to enjoy her childhood again. Her family sincerely thanks Helpster Charity and RUDO Hospital for their kind support and for making her treatment possible.

Doctors have recommended surgical excision of the hemangioma as the most effective treatment for Robaida’s condition. If the surgery is performed in time, the swelling can be safely removed, relieving her pain and allowing her to use her arm normally as she grows. Early treatment will prevent the mass from enlarging and protect the surrounding tissues and blood vessels from further damage. However, if left untreated, the hemangioma may continue to grow, causing severe pain, repeated bleeding, infection, and pressure on nearby structures, which can seriously affect the function of her arm. In rare but serious situations, uncontrolled bleeding or complications from the tumor could become life-threatening, making timely surgical treatment very important for her safety and long-term health.
