Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Golap Shah is a calm and gentle 8-year-old girl who loves drawing and dreams of becoming a doctor, but her family lives in deep financial hardship in a fragile camp home. Her father, Md. Hosen, earns only 6,000 BDT per month as a rickshaw driver, which is not enough to support the five-member family, including her two school-going sisters, making it impossible to afford her treatment. As her illness worsened with continuous diarrhea, vomiting, weakness, and low urine output, her condition became serious, leaving her parents extremely worried. Without proper and timely treatment, she may suffer severe dehydration and life-threatening complications. After learning about Helpster Charity through a Facebook post and a volunteer, her family now holds onto hope to save their beloved daughter’s life.
Medical history
Golap Shah was admitted on 23.03.2026 with acute watery diarrhea with gastroenteritis. Upon admission, she received prompt medical attention, including proper hydration therapy, supportive nutrition, and medications to control vomiting and diarrhea. She was closely monitored by doctors and nurses to ensure her vital signs remained stable and to prevent complications such as dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. With continuous nursing care and effective medical management, her condition gradually improved. Her fluid levels were restored, her appetite returned, and her overall strength increased. By 25.03.2026, she had fully recovered and was discharged in a stable and safe condition, showing significant improvement and no remaining complications.
Outcome
The doctor has recommended immediate hospital admission for Golap so that she can receive proper hydration, nutrition, and other supportive care. With timely treatment, her fluid levels can be restored, her weakness will improve, and she will have a strong chance of making a full recovery. Supportive therapy will help her body regain strength and prevent further complications. However, if left untreated, her dehydration may worsen rapidly, leading to severe illness and possible organ failure. Without urgent care, this condition could become life-threatening for such a young child.
