Akhi Akter is a caring and resilient 22-year-old pregnant woman who dreams of a safe delivery while supporting her husband and elderly in-laws, who depend entirely on the family. Her husband, a day laborer earning around 5000 BDT per month, is the sole provider, leaving them unable to afford the urgent medical care she now requires. Despite her strength and dedication to her family, Akhi is facing serious pregnancy complications, including low amniotic fluid and a breech-positioned baby, putting both her life and her unborn child at significant risk. If she does not receive timely treatment, she may suffer life-threatening complications during childbirth, and the baby could face severe distress or even loss. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Sadika Rahman and is now seeking support to ensure a safe delivery for both mother and child.

The patient,Akhi Akter was admitted to City Clinic on 07th june 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy2.5 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 11th June 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest option to ensure a controlled and secure delivery for both Akhi Akter and her baby. With timely surgery, the risks related to the breech position and low amniotic fluid can be carefully managed, greatly reducing the chances of birth complications and protecting the lives of both mother and child. A planned LUCS will help prevent prolonged labor, fetal distress, and possible injury during delivery. However, if proper treatment is not provided, there is a serious risk of obstructed labor, severe bleeding, or distress to the baby, which could become life-threatening. Early surgical intervention offers the best chance for a safe outcome and a healthy recovery for both mother and newborn.
