Yesmin Akter, a 21-year-old young woman, lives with her parents in a cramped shelter in Geneva Bihari Camp, where her father’s income of 8,500 BDT as a daily laborer is barely enough to manage food and basic household expenses, making medical treatment impossible to afford. Yeasmin Akter suddenly developed severe abdominal pain with vomiting, along with irregular menstruation, persistent itching, and headache, and was diagnosed with acute abdomen with PCOS, scabies, and tension-type headache. Her parents are deeply worried but feel helpless because of their financial hardship and poor living conditions. They learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp, as without timely treatment, her condition may worsen, leading to severe infection, chronic health complications, and serious risk to her overall well-being.

After receiving support from Helpster, Yesmin was admitted to AL-MANAR Hospital on 7th April 2026, where she was diagnosed with acute abdomen, PCOS, scabies, and tension-type headaches. She stayed in the hospital for 8 days, receiving conservative treatment, and was discharged on 15th April 2026 with prescribed medication. Her condition is improving, with the pain and other symptoms gradually subsiding. Yesmin’s family is continuing follow-up care, and if her headaches persist, a CT scan will be performed. With ongoing treatment, Yesmin is hopeful for a full recovery and a return to a healthier life.

With timely hospitalization, supportive care, and conservative treatment, Yesmin Akter’s condition can gradually improve. Treatment will help control her abdominal pain, vomiting, headache, skin infection, and hormonal imbalance, allowing her to regain strength and return to normal daily activities. Regular follow-up and further evaluation, including CT scan if needed, will help prevent complications and ensure proper recovery.
