Md. Saif Hasan, a young child, lives with his parents in a small overcrowded shelter in Geneva Bihari Camp, where his father earns only 8,500 BDT per month as a rickshaw driver, making it difficult to manage daily expenses and impossible to afford medical treatment. Despite growing up in hardship, Saif is a gentle and innocent child whose illness has made him weak and unable to enjoy a normal childhood. He has been suffering from abdominal pain, swelling, and anemia, which required urgent hospital care and investigations. However, due to financial limitations, his family is unable to bear the cost of treatment. They learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp and sought support, as without timely care, his condition may worsen into serious complications that could become life-threatening.

Md. Saif Hasan was admitted to Al Manar Hospital on 07 April 2026 at 3:31 PM after suffering from abdominal pain, abdominal distension, pallor, fever, and cough. During admission, doctors evaluated him for acute abdomen with iron deficiency anaemia, and his discharge record also noted fever with splenomegaly and a history of scabies. He remained in the hospital for 3 days, where he received supportive and conservative treatment, medicines, and investigations including blood tests and abdominal assessments. With regular medical care and monitoring, his condition gradually improved, and he was discharged on 10 April 2026 with medicines and follow-up advice. The family expressed gratitude for the care received and hopes that Helpster Charity’s support will help ensure his continued recovery and future wellbeing.

With timely hospitalization, NPO management, conservative treatment, and close monitoring, Md. Saif Hasan has a good chance of recovery as the underlying abdominal condition is controlled and his strength gradually improves. Proper care will help reduce pain, stabilize his health, and treat anemia, allowing him to return to normal growth and daily activities. However, if left untreated, his condition may worsen, leading to infection, organ damage, and severe weakness due to anemia. This can result in serious complications and may become life-threatening. Therefore, timely medical care is essential for his recovery and overall well-being.
