Nur Fatema Roksar, a 7-year-old girl, lives with her parents, siblings, and elderly grandmother in a small overcrowded shelter in Geneva Bihari Camp, where her father’s income of 7,500 BDT per month is not enough to meet basic needs, making medical care unaffordable. She is a gentle and vulnerable child who depends entirely on her family, as she is unable to walk, talk, or sit properly due to her condition. Her illness worsened with fever, cough, and weakness, and she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy with developmental epileptic encephalopathy, global developmental delay, and malnutrition. Her parents and family members are deeply worried but feel helpless due to their financial hardship. They sought help through Helpster Charity after learning from a medical outreach camp, as without timely treatment, her condition may worsen, leading to severe complications, increased seizures, and life-threatening risks.

The patient, Nur Fatema Roksar, a 7-year-old girl, was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on 7th April 2026 with complaints of fever, anorexia, and difficulty walking, talking, or sitting. After diagnostic tests, she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Epileptic Encephalopathy. Nur received conservative treatment under the supervision of a pediatrician, including medication and careful management of her symptoms. She showed steady improvement and was discharged on 19th April 2026 after a hospital stay of 12 days. The patient and her guardian expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity for their essential support throughout her treatment journey.

With timely hospitalization under a pediatric neurologist, along with conservative and supportive therapy and proper monitoring, Nur Fatema Roksar’s condition can be stabilized and complications can be prevented. Treatment will help control seizures, improve comfort, and support nutrition. With regular follow-up, her overall condition can improve. However, if left untreated, she may develop frequent seizures, severe weakness, and infections. Malnutrition may worsen her condition. These complications can become life-threatening, so timely medical care is essential.
