Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Tabasum Akter, a 19-year-old girl, lives with her mother and grandmother in a small overcrowded shelter in Geneva Bihari Camp, where her mother’s monthly income of 6,500 BDT is barely enough for food and basic needs, making medical treatment unaffordable. She is a quiet and creative girl who enjoys drawing, but her illness has made her weak and unable to live a normal life. She developed swelling in her thigh with weight loss and weakness and was diagnosed with left inguinal lymphadenopathy, requiring proper medical care. Her mother and grandmother are deeply worried but feel helpless due to financial hardship. They learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp and sought help, as without timely treatment, her condition may worsen, leading to severe infection and life-threatening complications.
Medical history
The patient, Tabasum Akter, aged 19, was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on 7th April 2026 with the diagnosis of Left Inguinal Lymphadenopathy. She underwent an excisional biopsy on 8th April 2026. After the surgery, Tabasum stayed in the hospital for 3 days, showing steady improvement, and was discharged on 10th April 2026 with medical advice for continued care, including medications and follow-up visits. The patient and her guardian expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity for providing essential support during her treatment and recovery process.
Outcome
With timely hospitalization under the surgery department and excisional biopsy, Tabasum Akter’s condition can be properly diagnosed and treated. The procedure will help identify the exact cause of the lymph node swelling and guide appropriate management, improving her strength and appetite. With proper follow-up, she can return to normal life. However, if left untreated, the swelling may increase and the underlying disease may worsen. This can lead to severe infection, spread of illness, and life-threatening complications, making timely treatment essential.
