Mst. Khulchum is a calm and devoted 35-year-old mother living in a fragile mud-made house with her husband, young daughter, and elderly mother-in-law, where daily life is shaped by poverty and uncertainty. Her husband, Saidar Rahman, earns only around 6,000 BDT per month as a day laborer, which is barely enough for basic needs, making medical treatment impossible for the family to afford. Despite her hardship, Khulchum remains strong and hopeful, caring for her family and dreaming of a safe delivery and a better future. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a doctor, giving them hope during this difficult time. Without timely treatment, her breech pregnancy with anemia could lead to serious complications during delivery, putting both the mother and unborn baby at risk of life-threatening conditions.

Kulchum presented at 39 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy with a breech presentation. She was admitted on 08.04.2026, and an emergency LSCS was performed on the same day. The operation was successful, and a healthy baby was delivered safely. Following the surgery, she received proper medical management, including postoperative monitoring, pain management, infection prevention, and necessary medications, along with attentive nursing care. Both the mother and baby were kept under close observation to ensure stable recovery. With timely treatment and supportive care, her condition improved steadily. She was discharged on 11.04.2026 in a stable and secure condition, with advice for follow-up and postnatal care.

The recommended treatment for her is LSCS under SAB, which is the safest option to deliver the baby immediately and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, the baby is expected to recover well and lead a healthy life. However, if the delivery is delayed or left untreated, the baby may suffer from fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, birth trauma such as brachial plexus injury, and oxygen deprivation leading to permanent brain damage or even death. The mother may also face life-threatening infections or other complications.
