Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Umay Huzaifa, a 5-day-old newborn baby girl, lives with her parents and maternal grandparents in a financially struggling family. Her father is currently unemployed, and her grandfather earns a small income from farming, which is not enough to meet daily needs or cover medical expenses. Soon after birth, Umay developed serious health problems, including infection and convulsions, and her condition quickly became critical. Her family tried to seek treatment, but due to lack of money, they were unable to continue care and had to return home. They later learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Al Amin and Dr. Nasir and sought help, as without immediate treatment, her condition may worsen and become life-threatening.
Medical history
Umay Huzaifa, a 5-day-old newborn, was admitted on 16.03.2026 in critical condition with severe blood infection and convulsions. She required immediate NICU support and received intensive care, including continuous monitoring, CPAP for breathing, and specialized neonatal treatment. She stayed 07 days in the NICU and 05 days in the cabin, where her condition gradually improved under close supervision. After 12 days of treatment, she was discharged on 27.03.2026 in stable condition with normal clinical findings. Her recovery was made possible by the generous support of Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the hospital team.
Outcome
With immediate NICU admission and supportive care, Ummay Huzaifa has a good chance of stabilization and recovery. Treatment will improve breathing, maintain oxygen levels, and support brain function affected by birth asphyxia. After improvement, continued care will help gradual recovery and development. However, if left untreated, the condition may worsen, leading to severe breathing failure, brain damage, seizures, or developmental delay. These complications can be life-threatening, so timely treatment is essential.
