Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Ritu Moni is a humble and hopeful housewife, married to a poor day laborer whose limited income barely covers their daily needs, leaving them unable to afford essential medical care. As a first-time mother at 40 weeks of pregnancy, she has been patiently enduring discomfort while dreaming of safely welcoming her baby into the world. Her husband learned about Helpster Charity through Marketing Officer Anwar Hossain and sought support, as they had no means to manage the cost of urgent treatment. Despite her strength, Ritu Moni’s condition is serious, and she now depends greatly on her husband’s care and support. If she does not receive timely medical intervention, the severe oligohydramnios may put both her life and her unborn baby at risk, potentially leading to complications such as fetal distress, stillbirth, or life-threatening conditions during delivery.

Medical history

Ritu Moni was admitted to the hospital on April 18, 2026, with a diagnosis of a 40-week pregnancy complicated by severe oligohydramnios. On the same day, she successfully underwent a cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn remained in good condition throughout their hospital stay and were discharged on April 22, 2026. Upon discharge, Ritu’s husband and mother-in-law arrived at the hospital to receive them. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. Abdullah Miah for their dedicated care and continuous support throughout the process. Ritu’s husband was especially thankful to Helpster for providing crucial financial assistance during the treatment.

Outcome

With timely LUCS (Lower Uterine Cesarean Section), Ritu Moni has a high chance of safely delivering her baby and avoiding serious complications. The procedure will help prevent risks associated with severe oligohydramnios, ensuring better outcomes for both the mother and the newborn. With proper surgical care and post-operative monitoring, both are expected to recover well and remain healthy. However, if left untreated, the condition may lead to fetal distress, stillbirth, or complications during labor due to low amniotic fluid. It can also put the mother at risk of prolonged labor, infection, or other life-threatening complications, making urgent intervention essential to protect both lives.
