Sanjana Akther, a 17-year-old student, lives with her widowed mother, two brothers, sister, and sister-in-law in a poor household where her elder brother earns only 5,000 BDT per month as the sole provider, making it difficult to meet even basic needs. Despite these challenges, Sanjana is a sincere and determined girl who continues her studies while supporting her family. Recently, she developed severe abdominal pain and fever, leading to hospital admission and diagnosis of acute abdomen, which requires urgent medical care. However, due to financial hardship, her family is unable to afford the necessary treatment and investigations. They learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema and sought help, as without timely treatment, her condition may worsen into serious complications that could become life-threatening.

Sanjana, a 17-year-old girl, was admitted to Seba Hospital on 15.04.2026 after being diagnosed with acute abdomen. Under the supervision of a pediatrician, she has been receiving comprehensive care, including hospitalization, supportive treatment, and close monitoring. Throughout the treatment period, her condition has been carefully observed, and she is responding to the medical care provided. She remains under hospital management, with gradual improvement noted under continuous supervision. Upon stabilization, she will be discharged with medical advice for continued recovery at home. Sanjana’s family has expressed their sincere gratitude to the hospital team, Helpster Charity, and the dedicated volunteers for their invaluable support during her treatment.

With timely hospitalization under a pediatrician and appropriate supportive care, Sanjana has a strong likelihood of recovery without long-term complications. Close monitoring will enable the medical team to assess her condition regularly and take prompt action if any changes arise. The treatment is focused on relieving pain, stabilizing her condition, and preventing further complications. However, if left untreated, her condition may deteriorate and lead to serious complications, including the spread of infection or damage to internal organs.
