Raisa Jannath, a 29-month-old girl, lives with her parents, grandmother, and uncle in a poor household where her father earns only 4,000 BDT per month as a woodcutter, making it difficult to meet daily needs and impossible to afford medical care. She is a sweet and playful child, but her illness has made her weak and irritable, causing great concern for her family. She developed high fever, vomiting, and breathing problems, and was diagnosed with pneumonia along with rickets, requiring proper treatment. Her parents and family members are deeply worried but cannot bear the cost due to financial hardship. They learned about Helpster Charity through Helpster volunteer Ema and sought help, as without timely treatment, her condition may worsen, leading to severe infection, breathing complications, and long-term bone problems that can affect her growth and life.

Raisa Jannat, a 2-year-5-month-old girl, was admitted to Seba Hospital on 16.04.2026 after being diagnosed with rickets with pneumonia. Under the supervision of a pediatrician, she received comprehensive care, including hospitalization, conservative and supportive treatment, and close monitoring. Throughout the treatment period, her condition was carefully observed, and she responded gradually to the medical care provided. She remained under hospital management with steady improvement noted under continuous supervision and was successfully discharged on 22.04.2026 with medical advice for continued recovery at home. Raisa Jannat’s family expressed their sincere gratitude to the hospital team, Helpster Charity, and the dedicated volunteers for their invaluable support during her treatment.

With timely hospitalization, antibiotics, nebulization, vitamin D therapy, and supportive care, Raisa Jannat is expected to improve as the lung infection is controlled and her breathing stabilizes. Treatment will also strengthen her bones and support normal growth. However, if left untreated, pneumonia may worsen, causing severe breathing difficulty and life-threatening infection. Rickets may also progress, leading to permanent bone deformities and growth problems. Therefore, timely medical care is essential for her recovery and healthy development.
