Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Good Health Hospital, Rangpur

Dhap, Jail Road, Near Bangladesh Bank Rangpur. Rangpur (city) - 5400 Bangladesh

Background

Sabiha Tabassum, a 1.5-year-old child, lives with her parents and grandmother in Rangpur, where her father earns only about 8,000 BDT per month through agricultural work, making it difficult to meet daily needs and impossible to afford medical treatment. She is a gentle and innocent child who should be enjoying a playful childhood, but her illness has left her weak and struggling to breathe. She developed fever, cough, and severe breathing difficulty, and due to her underlying heart condition, her situation became more critical. Her family members are deeply worried but unable to bear the treatment cost due to financial hardship. They sought help through Helpster Charity with the support of volunteer Abu Hanif, as without timely care, her condition may worsen, leading to heart failure, severe infection, and life-threatening complications.

Medical history

Sabiha Tabassum was admitted to Good Health Hospital on 10 April 2026 and received treatment including oxygen support, intravenous antibiotics, nebulization, and close monitoring due to her heart condition. During her 8-day hospitalization, her fever reduced, breathing improved, and her condition stabilized. She was discharged on 18 April 2026 with advice for follow-up care . Her family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the hospital team for their life-saving support, which played a vital role in her recovery and gave her a new chance at a healthy life.

Outcome

Doctors have advised immediate and continuous treatment with close monitoring for Sabiha Tabassum due to her pneumonia and underlying heart condition. With timely care, including antibiotics, oxygen support, nebulization, and proper cardiac follow-up, her infection can be controlled and breathing gradually improves. This will help stabilize her heart condition and support normal growth. However, if treatment is delayed, her condition may worsen rapidly. Pneumonia combined with heart disease can lead to severe respiratory distress, low oxygen levels, heart failure, and life-threatening complications. Therefore, timely and continuous medical care is essential for her survival.
