Niati Rani, a 32-year-old pregnant woman, lives with her husband, a day laborer earning only 5,000 BDT per month, and her elderly mother-in-law who is unable to work, making it difficult for the family to meet even basic needs, let alone medical expenses. Despite her difficult past pregnancies, she is a caring and resilient woman who dreams of a safe delivery and a healthy child. Currently, at over 34 weeks of pregnancy, she is facing complications including abdominal pain, watery discharge, low amniotic fluid, and breech presentation, which require urgent medical attention. Due to financial hardship, her family is unable to afford the necessary treatment and monitoring. She learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Sadika Rahman and sought help, as without timely care, her condition could lead to serious complications during delivery, putting both her life and her baby’s life at risk.

The patient,Niati Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 03th May 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy3.0 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 07th May 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest option to ensure a controlled and secure delivery for both Niati and her baby. With timely surgery, the risks related to the breech position and low amniotic fluid can be carefully managed, greatly reducing the chances of birth complications and protecting the lives of both mother and child. A planned LUCS will help prevent prolonged labor, fetal distress, and possible injury during delivery. However, if proper treatment is not provided, there is a serious risk of obstructed labor, severe bleeding, or distress to the baby, which could become life-threatening. Early surgical intervention offers the best chance for a safe outcome and a healthy recovery for both mother and newborn.
