Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Md. Mubashir Islam Safwan, a 2-year-old child from Lalmonirhat, is a cheerful and innocent little boy whose painful illness has left his family deeply worried and helpless. His father, a poor farmer earning only around 8,000 BDT per month, is the sole provider for the family and struggles to manage daily food and household expenses, making the cost of surgery impossible to afford. Safwan cries excessively during urination and suffers from swelling and severe discomfort due to phimosis with a paraurethral cyst, which has made his daily life painful and distressing. His parents constantly worry as they watch their little child suffer and become restless from pain, while lacking the financial ability to arrange urgent treatment. Without timely surgery, his condition may worsen, leading to urinary blockage, severe infection, kidney complications, and potentially life-threatening health problems in the future.
Medical history
Md. Mubashir Islam Safwan was admitted with complaints of painful urination, excessive crying during micturition, and swelling of the penile region. After clinical evaluation and necessary investigations, he was diagnosed with phimosis associated with a paraurethral cyst. Considering the severity of symptoms and risk of urinary obstruction, doctors decided to perform urgent surgical management through circumcision and cyst excision (operation) to relieve the blockage and prevent further complications.Following the operation, his condition showed gradual improvement. The pain and swelling reduced significantly, and he was able to pass urine with much less discomfort. Post-operative care, hygiene maintenance, and regular follow-up were advised to ensure complete recovery and prevent infection. His family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Helpstar Charity, the volunteers, and the medical team for their timely support and compassionate care, which played a vital role in his treatment and recovery.
Outcome
According to the doctors, timely surgical treatment through circumcision and excision is expected to relieve Safwan’s urinary obstruction, reduce pain and swelling, and restore normal urinary function. With proper treatment and post-operative care, he is expected to recover well and live a healthy and normal childhood without long-term complications. However, if the condition is left untreated, the child may develop serious complications such as recurrent infections, severe pain during urination, urinary retention, and worsening swelling.
