During this difficult time, the family learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp organized in Geneva Camp, which became a source of hope for Rohan’s treatment and recovery.

Md. Rohan Hossain was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on May 2, 2026, at 12:51 PM to treat severe pneumonia and a painful tubercular neck abscess. After a targeted three-day hospital stay focused on clinical stabilization and oxygen therapy, he successfully underwent emergency surgical incision, fluid drainage, and a diagnostic lymph node biopsy on May 4, 2026, at 5:20 PM. Rohan was safely discharged in stable condition the very next day, May 5, 2026, equipped with essential post-operative medications and a detailed wound care plan. He is currently resting comfortably at home inside the camp, with his respiratory distress resolved, while his family prepares for his upcoming medical follow-up once his histopathology reports are completed.

According to the doctors, Md. Rohan Hossain requires urgent treatment, including oxygen support, medicines, drainage of the neck infection, regular wound care, and further tests to confirm tuberculosis. With proper treatment and close medical care, his breathing problems and infection can gradually improve, helping him return to a healthier and safer condition. Doctors are also monitoring him carefully to prevent the infection from spreading further. If he is left untreated, the severe lung infection and neck abscess may worsen rapidly, causing serious breathing failure, spread of infection to other parts of the body, extreme weakness, and other life-threatening complications that could put his life at serious risk.
