Maliha Jannath Tabassum is a gentle and innocent six-month-old baby girl who belongs to a poor family living in difficult conditions. Her father, Abdul Halim, works as a woodcutter and earns only around 7,000 BDT per month, which is barely enough to support the five-member family, including her school-going brother Sadikur Rahman and sister Masuma Jannath. When Maliha developed high fever, cough, vomiting, and severe breathing difficulty, her family became extremely worried and rushed her to the hospital after her condition continued to worsen. Doctors diagnosed her with severe pneumonia and admitted her for urgent treatment and close monitoring. Without proper medical care, the infection could become life-threatening and may seriously affect her breathing and overall health, but the family is struggling to continue the treatment costs due to their financial hardship and came to know about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema.

Maliha Jannat Tabassum was admitted to Seba Hospital on 04 May 2026 with a diagnosis of Severe Pneumonia . She received treatment under the care of a pediatrician for 7 days. During her hospitalization, she was provided with all necessary supportive therapy and was closely monitored by doctors and nurses. She was discharged on 11 May 2026 with medical advice. At the time of discharge, the patient’s family expressed their sincere gratitude to Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Ema and the Seba Hospital team.

According to the doctors, Maliha Jannath Tabassum requires hospitalization, antibiotic treatment, nebulization, and supportive care to recover from severe pneumonia and breathing difficulty. With proper treatment, close monitoring, and timely medicines, her fever, cough, breathing problem, and weakness are expected to improve gradually, allowing her to recover safely and continue normal growth and development. Doctors are carefully observing her condition to prevent the infection from becoming more severe and to maintain stable breathing. However, if Maliha does not receive proper treatment on time, the lung infection could spread further and become life-threatening, causing severe breathing failure, extreme weakness, and other serious complications.
