Anisa Akter is a kind and hardworking 16-year-old girl from Geneva CCR Camp, Mohammadpur, who studies in Class 9 and dreams of becoming a social worker to help poor families in her community. She lives with her parents, younger brother, and younger sister in a small overcrowded shelter where her father, Md. Ayman, works as a day laborer earning only around 9,500 BDT per month, making it impossible for the family to manage expensive hospital treatment and medicines after covering basic daily expenses. Her severe throat infection, difficulty swallowing, nasal blockage, and repeated nose bleeding have left her weak, unable to eat properly, and unable to continue her studies and normal activities. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach program organized in the camp. Doctors have warned that without proper treatment, the infection and swelling may spread further, causing severe breathing and swallowing problems, continuous bleeding, and potentially life-threatening complications.

Anisa Akter was admitted to the hospital on 04-05-2026 with severe sore throat, fever, painful swallowing, nasal blockage, and recurrent nasal bleeding caused by severe tonsillar infection and peritonsillar swelling. After detailed medical evaluation and necessary investigations, the doctors decided to perform an operation on 05-05-2026 to control the infection and relieve the swelling and obstruction. Following the surgery, she received antibiotics, pain management, and supportive care under close medical observation. Gradually, her throat pain reduced, swallowing became easier, and her overall condition improved significantly. After satisfactory postoperative recovery, Anisa was discharged from the hospital on 06-05-2026 with advice for regular follow-up, medication, and proper ENT care for complete recovery.

According to the doctors, Anisa Akter urgently needs treatment to stop the nasal bleeding, drain the throat infection, and reduce the swelling in her throat and nose. After the infection improves, she may also need tonsil surgery to prevent the problem from returning. With proper treatment and close medical care, her pain, swelling, breathing difficulty, and repeated nose bleeding are expected to improve gradually, helping her return to normal life and continue her studies. However, if she remains untreated, the infection may spread further, cause severe breathing and swallowing problems, continuous bleeding, and become life-threatening.
