Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
An 11months old child, whose mother noticed about few months ago that she developed a swelling at the left ear. She was applying Shea butter, but the swelling continues to grow, with severe pains and child crying and irritable.
Medical history
The child was found at an outreach at Makoko, mother complaints of ear pains, ear discharge, fever, swelling, and child cries a lot and in lots of distress. The child was referred to our hospital and was diagnosed with an Ear Infection called Otitis Media and Malaria/Sepsis. We treated the child with antibiotics, pain medications, and malaria medications. The child was not admitted but treated as an outpatient and went home with her mother. The mother was very happy that Helpster treated her child when she has no money for her treatment.
Outcome
Otitis is amenable to treatment and prognosis is good. If not treated early ear infections can lead to complications in hearing.
