Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
A 4year old child that is quiet and loves reading. About some months ago, she developed tooth infections which was left untreated and currently the child is having constant headaches and high fever.
Medical history
The child was referred from the Helpster outreach program at Makoko, with fever, catarrh. He was diagnosed with Dental Caries/Infection/Cavity and malaria/sepsis. The child was treated as an outpatient and given appropriate medications which will treat all the symptoms. The mother was happy and grateful to Helpster, as she went home with all the free medications.
Outcome
Dental Infection with fever has good prognosis if treated early. This will improve the child's quality of life and they can return to a normal playful life.
