Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Zihan Ahmed is a calm and gentle 1-year-old boy whose innocent smile brings happiness to his struggling family. His father, Fokrul Islam, works as a night guide and earns only around 4,000 BDT per month, which is not enough to support five family members, making it impossible for them to afford expensive hospital treatment. When Zihan developed high fever, cough, and severe breathing difficulty, his mother, Selina Begum, became terrified as he grew weaker and struggled to breathe, while his elder brother Riban and sister Taslima stayed worried beside him. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema and sought help in desperation after admitting him to the hospital. Without urgent treatment, Zihan’s severe pneumonia could rapidly become life-threatening, causing severe breathing failure, low oxygen levels, lung complications, and other dangerous conditions that may put his young life at serious risk.
Medical history
Zihan Ahmed was admitted to Seba Hospital on 11 May 2026 with fever, cough, breathing difficulty, and severe pneumonia. He received treatment under the care for several days and was kept under close observation in the hospital. During his hospitalization, he was provided with medicines, supportive treatment, and regular care by the doctors and nurses. His condition gradually improved with treatment, and he was discharged on 16 May 2026 with medical advice. At the time of discharge, the patient’s family expressed their sincere gratitude to Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Ema and the Seba Hospital team.
Outcome
According to the treating doctor, Zihan Ahmed requires immediate hospitalization, antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and other supportive treatment to control the severe lung infection and improve his breathing. With proper medical care and close monitoring, he is expected to recover gradually and return to his normal healthy and playful childhood. The treatment will help reduce fever, improve oxygen supply, and prevent the infection from spreading further in his lungs. However, if treatment is delayed or left untreated, his severe pneumonia may rapidly become life-threatening, leading to severe breathing failure, dangerously low oxygen levels, lung complications, extreme weakness, and other critical conditions that could put his young life at serious risk.
