China Rani is a kind and hopeful 21-year-old woman who is expecting her first child and dreams of raising a happy family with her husband, Tapas Chandra Byapari (31). Her husband works as a daily wage laborer and earns only about 8,000 BDT per month, which must support six family members, including her elderly father-in-law Ram Chandra Byapari (65), mother-in-law Bibha Rani (50), and two younger brothers-in-law, Robin (18) and Paresh (16), making it impossible to afford costly emergency medical care. After a normal pregnancy, China Rani suddenly developed obstructed labour at 39+ weeks of pregnancy, and hospital evaluation revealed a breech presentation, placing both mother and baby in a critical and life-threatening situation. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abdur Rahman, who guided them in seeking urgent assistance when they had no financial means to pay for treatment. Without an immediate cesarean section, the baby could have suffered severe oxygen deprivation, birth injury, or death, while China Rani faced the risk of uterine rupture, severe bleeding, infection, and other life-threatening complications.

After experiencing, obstructed labour with breech presentation , she arrived at our hospital at 3.00PM in 25th April 2026 and doctors performed an ultrasound that revealed breech presentation , making vaginal delivery impossible. An emergency cesarean section was promptly arranged, and the procedure was successful, resulting in the birth of a beautiful female baby. Both the mother and the baby are safe and sound, with no complications arising from the surgery. We discharged the patient at 10.30AM in 28th April 2026.The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Heroes and the hospital for their timely and effective care.

According to the treating physician, China Rani's 39+ weeks pregnancy with breech presentation and obstructed labour requires an immediate Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) to safely deliver the baby and prevent serious complications. With timely surgery, the baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risk of birth injury, oxygen deprivation, and other complications, while protecting the mother's health and future fertility. Proper medical care and postoperative monitoring are expected to result in a good recovery for both mother and child. However, if left untreated or if delivery is delayed, obstructed labour can lead to severe bleeding, uterine rupture, infection, and even maternal death, while the baby may suffer severe distress, permanent brain injury due to lack of oxygen, or death inside the womb
