Suma Begum is a caring and hardworking mother who dreams of seeing all her children grow up healthy and educated despite her family's financial hardship. She lives with her husband, their two school-going children, and her elderly mother-in-law, while her husband is the only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of only BDT 8,000, making it impossible for the family to afford the cost of an emergency Caesarean section. Doctors found that the amount of water around her baby is dangerously low, making the pregnancy high-risk, and without immediate treatment, both mother and baby could face serious complications, including lack of oxygen to the baby, difficult labor, severe bleeding, stillbirth, or even loss of life. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abdur Rahman, the family found hope at a time when they had no other way to pay for the lifesaving treatment

After experiencing, passage of gush of water and leaky membrane for 2 days and less fetal movement for 1 day without progressing labour pain, she arrived at our hospital at 11.00AM in 30th April 2026 and doctors performed an ultrasound that revealed amniotic fluid is very low with fetal distress , making vaginal delivery impossible. An emergency cesarean section was promptly arranged, and the procedure was successful, resulting in the birth of a beautiful Female baby. Both the mother and the baby are safe and sound, with no complications arising from the surgery. We discharged the patient at 11.30AM in 03rd May 2026 .The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Heroes and the hospital for their timely and effective care.

With timely Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS), Suma Begum has a high chance of a safe delivery, which can protect both her life and the life of her unborn child. The procedure will help prevent complications caused by vary low amniotic fluid and less fetal movement, ensuring the baby is delivered before the condition worsens. With proper post-operative care, both mother and baby are expected to recover well and lead a healthy life. However, if the condition is left untreated, the baby may suffer from severe distress, lack of oxygen, or even stillbirth. The mother may also face serious complications, including infection or prolonged labor risks, which can be life-threatening for both.
