Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Benter is the firstborn in a family of five children. Following the loss of both her parents while she was still in high school, she assumed the responsibility of caring for her younger siblings. To support the family, she balanced her education with selling tomatoes at the local market. Although a relative later took in two of the children, Benter remained responsible for the youngest two siblings. Despite living in a small two-roomed mud house and facing significant financial challenges, she continues to provide for them with support from a kind neighbor, who also cared for the children during her hospitalization. After Benter confirmed that she was expectant, she informed the child's father, but he denied responsibility and subsequently cut off communication. Encouraged by her neighbor, she chose to continue with the pregnancy and faithfully attended all antenatal clinic visits at Sega Health Centre. One morning, at approximately 6:00 a.m., she developed severe abdominal pain and was admitted to Sega Health Centre in labour. Due to failure of the baby to progress through the birth canal, she was referred to Siaya County Referral Hospital, where she underwent an emergency Caesarean section for safe delivery.
Prognosis
Emergency CS for obstructed labour a life-saving operation for both mother and baby. Prognosis is good since the intervention was done early and proper postoperative care given. Delayed treatment may cause complications such as infection, excessive bleeding,Obstetric fistula, or baby oxygen deprivation. Benter was promptly admitted and successfully underwent emergency cesarian surgery. She is expected to make full recovery post operative care.
