Alif Hossain is a brave and cheerful 3-year-old boy who continues to fight serious health challenges with the loving support of his parents, grandmother, and disabled sister. His father, Felan Bepari, earns only about 9,000 Taka per month as a roadside tea seller, and this small income is not enough to support a family of five while covering the high cost of Alif's ongoing medical treatment. Living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, Alif's condition became critical when he developed severe breathing difficulties, fever, cough, low oxygen levels, and a lung infection, forcing his family to rush him to the hospital. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp in Geneva Camp, which became their only hope when they could no longer afford treatment. Without urgent medical care, Alif could suffer worsening seizures, severe pneumonia, breathing failure, spreading infection, and other life-threatening complications, putting both his life and future at serious risk.

The doctor expects that hospitalization with appropriate antibiotic therapy, oxygen support, supportive care, close monitoring, and neurological evaluation will help control the aspiration pneumonia, improve breathing, and stabilize the child’s overall condition. Continued medical care may reduce the risk of further respiratory complications. If left untreated, severe pneumonia with low oxygen levels may worsen rapidly and lead to respiratory failure, severe infection, or other life-threatening complications
