Shayan Ali is a cheerful and playful 4-year-old boy who loves racing toy cars and making his younger brother laugh. His father, Md. Zubair Ali, works as a daily wage laborer and earns only about 9,000 BDT per month, supporting Shayan, his mother Resmi Akter, his grandfather, and his younger brother, making it extremely difficult to afford medical treatment. For several months, Shayan suffered from phimosis, causing increasing difficulty passing urine and painful ballooning of the foreskin, but the family could not manage the cost of proper care due to their financial hardship. With proper postoperative care and follow-up, he is expected to make a full recovery and enjoy a normal, healthy childhood. However, if left untreated, the narrowing of the foreskin may continue to worsen, leading to severe pain during urination, repeated infections, urinary retention, and possible damage to the urinary tract.
