Mrs. Aisha Siddika is a kind and hopeful 17-year-old woman who is eagerly waiting to welcome her first child and dreams of giving her baby a healthy start in life. The attending doctor has advised LUCS (Lower Uterine Cesarean Section) as the safest mode of delivery, given that the fetus is in breech presentation at 36+ weeks of gestation. In such cases, cesarean delivery significantly reduces the risks associated with vaginal breech birth, particularly for a primigravida patient. Timely LUCS can help ensure the safe delivery of the baby, minimizing the chances of birth trauma, oxygen deprivation (birth asphyxia), and fetal distress. If left unmanaged and labor progresses naturally, there is a high risk of serious complications. The baby may suffer from trauma, asphyxia, or even death, while the mother may face life-threatening conditions such as severe hemorrhage, uterine rupture, or infection.
