Fatema Khatun is an 18-year-old woman who is pregnant with her first child and hopes for a safe delivery. According to the treating doctors, LUCS (Lower Uterine Caesarean Section) is the safest treatment option for Fatema because her baby is in a breech position and there is reduced amniotic fluid, both of which increase the risk of complications during a normal delivery. The surgery is expected to ensure a safer birth, reduce the risk of injury to the baby, and protect the health of both mother and child. With timely surgical intervention, Fatema has a good chance of a safe delivery and recovery. However, if left untreated or if delivery is delayed, serious complications such as obstructed labor, fetal distress, severe bleeding, infection, or loss of the baby may occur.
