Ayman Hussen Rafi is a cheerful and innocent 8-month-old baby boy who brings happiness to his parents and grandparents. His father, Kholilur Rahman, earns only BDT 5,500 per month as an auto-rickshaw driver, and this small income is barely enough to support the five-member family, leaving them unable to afford Ayman's urgent medical treatment. After developing septicemia, Ayman remained very ill with a high fever and persistent cough, and without immediate treatment, the infection could spread rapidly throughout his body, leading to organ failure and becoming life-threatening. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema, whose support gave them hope when they had no way to pay for treatment.

Ayman Hosen was admitted to Seba Hospital on 10 June 2026 with a high fever and cough. After medical evaluation, he was diagnosed with septicemia, a serious bloodstream infection, and received medicines, intravenous fluids, and supportive treatment under close medical supervision. Although his condition showed some improvement during his hospital stay, he did not recover satisfactorily and required referral to Helpster other partner hospital for advanced treatment and better management. At the time of referral on 16th June 2026, the patient's family expressed their sincere gratitude to Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema and the Seba Hospital team for their support and care.

According to the treating doctor, Ayman requires immediate hospitalization, broad-spectrum antibiotics, close monitoring, and continuous medical evaluation. If his condition does not improve or becomes more severe, referral to a specialized hospital is essential for advanced treatment. With timely and appropriate medical care, the infection can be controlled, allowing him to recover fully and continue normal growth and development. However, if septicemia is left untreated, the infection can spread rapidly throughout the body, leading to septic shock, multiple organ failure, permanent organ damage, and even death. Early treatment and prompt referral are therefore critical to saving his life and ensuring the best possible recovery.
