Ezrah is a one-year-old child who is cheerful, active, and enjoys interacting with people around him. He is at a critical stage of growth and development and is naturally curious about his surroundings. Ezrah lives with his grandmother after his teenage mother returned to school to continue her education. His grandmother is his primary caregiver and provides for the family's daily needs through small-scale farming. The limited income she earns is mainly used to cover school fees and basic household expenses such as food, clothing, and shelter, leaving little for healthcare and other unexpected costs. Ezrah was brought to the health facility after experiencing difficulty breathing, persistent cough, fever, diarrhea, repeated vomiting, and loss of appetite for three days. His condition progressively worsened, leaving him weak, irritable, and unable to feed adequately. The breathing difficulties became severe, causing significant concern to his caregiver and requiring urgent medical attention. Following clinical examination and laboratory investigations, Ezrah was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and dehydration. Due to the severity of his condition and respiratory distress, he was commenced on oxygen therapy and admitted for treatment, close monitoring, management, and further investigations.

Ezrah was brought to the facility by her grandmother with complains of; fever, diarrhea, difficult in breathing, vomiting everything, cough and loos of appetite. Based on laboratory investigation, he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and dehydration. Was admitted for treatment and further investigation. Was given; I.v 5%D, RL , I v Pcm and Xpen. Ezrah responded positively to medication and discharged on good condition.
