Most. Peyari Akter is a kind and hardworking 26-year-old mother who lives with her husband and their 4-year-old son, Roja, in a family of three, doing her best to care for her family despite their difficult circumstances. Her husband is the family's only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of approximately BDT 6,000, which is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities, leaving them unable to afford the cost of hospital care, medicines, investigations, and ongoing treatment during her pregnancy. After learning about Helpster Charity through a leaflet, the family sought assistance in the hope of protecting both Peyari and her unborn baby. Despite exhausting their limited resources, they cannot continue her treatment without financial support. Without timely medical care and close monitoring, her breech pregnancy with anemia and persistent abdominal pain may progress to premature labor, fetal distress, obstructed delivery, severe maternal complications, or other life-threatening conditions that could endanger both mother and baby.

The recommended treatment is Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) under spinal anesthesia (SAB), which is the safest option to deliver the baby promptly and reduce the risks associated with breech presentation. With timely surgery, appropriate postoperative care, and regular follow-up, Peyari is expected to recover well, and both mother and baby have an excellent chance of a healthy outcome. If delivery is delayed or left untreated, the baby may develop fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, birth trauma, head entrapment, oxygen deprivation, or stillbirth, while the mother remains at risk of obstructed labour, severe bleeding, uterine rupture, and other life-threatening complications. Early surgical intervention is essential to protect the lives of both the mother and her baby.
