Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Anas Ali is a cheerful and innocent 4-month-old baby whose smile brings endless joy to his parents and his loving 3½-year-old sister, Tahmina Akter. His father, Jakir Hossain, earns only BDT 8,000 per month as a day laborer, and the family struggles to survive in a small rented room, making the cost of PICU care and specialized treatment impossible to afford. After his condition worsened despite treatment at another hospital, Anas was diagnosed with acute bronchiolitis with secondary severe pneumonia, leaving his family frightened and desperate to save their little boy. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a neighbor whose child had previously received Helpster support and later contacted volunteer ABM Alamgir, giving them hope during this critical time. Without timely intensive care, oxygen support, and antibiotics, Anas could develop severe respiratory failure, overwhelming infection, permanent lung damage, or even lose his life, devastating a family already struggling with extreme poverty.

Prognosis

According to the treating doctor, prompt hospital treatment with oxygen therapy, broad-spectrum antibiotics, supportive care, and close monitoring is expected to control Anas Ali's acute bronchiolitis and severe pneumonia, allowing his lungs to heal and helping him recover completely. With timely treatment, his breathing will improve, the infection will resolve, and he can return to normal growth and development. Careful follow-up and adherence to medical advice are important to prevent recurrence and ensure a full recovery. However, if left untreated, the lung infection may rapidly worsen, leading to severe respiratory failure, low oxygen levels, bloodstream infection, permanent lung damage, or even death.
