Marufa Akter Mahi is a cheerful and determined 6-year-old girl who dreams of returning to school, playing with her friends, and living a normal childhood. She lives with her family in Lalmonirhat, where her father, Jahir Ali, earns only about 12,000 BDT per month as a farmer, making it impossible for the family to afford the enormous costs of brain surgery, intensive care, and ongoing treatment. After being diagnosed with a brain tumor and undergoing major surgery, Marufa developed serious complications affecting her heart, breathing, and brain, leaving her in critical condition and requiring specialized hospital care. Without continuous treatment and close medical monitoring, these complications could worsen rapidly, leading to permanent brain damage, organ failure, or even loss of life. Through the support of Helpster Volunteer Md. Abu Hanif and Helpster Charity, her family now has hope that Marufa can receive the care she needs to recover and pursue her dream of a brighter future.

Doctors believe that with continuous treatment, close monitoring, and supportive care in the HDU, Marufa's condition can gradually stabilize and improve. Proper management of her irregular heartbeat, breathing difficulties, and convulsions will help reduce the risk of further complications and support her recovery. If treatment is maintained, she has a chance to regain her strength and continue her normal growth and development. However, without ongoing specialized care, her condition could worsen rapidly, leading to severe brain damage, respiratory failure, heart complications, or even life-threatening consequences. Therefore, continuous critical care remains essential for her survival and recovery.
