Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Akhi Akter is a kind, honest, and hopeful young woman who dreams of becoming a loving mother and raising her first child to be an honest and successful person. She lives with her husband, Md. Rifat, her mother-in-law Rohija Begum, and her young brother-in-law Novan Hossein, and the family survives on her husband's small monthly income of only 6,000 BDT, leaving them unable to afford the cost of emergency hospital care. Although they had planned for a normal delivery at home, doctors diagnosed her with severe oligohydramnios, a dangerous condition that puts her unborn baby at high risk. Without timely treatment, both Akhi and her baby could face life-threatening complications, including fetal distress, stillbirth, emergency delivery, and severe risks to the mother's health. After learning about Helpster Charity through a volunteer, the family is now seeking support to ensure that both mother and baby receive the urgent care they need.

Prognosis

The recommended treatment for Akhi Akter is LUCS under spinal anesthesia (SAB), which is the safest option for delivering the baby promptly and preventing further complications associated with severe oligohydramnios. With timely surgical intervention, the baby is expected to be delivered safely and have a healthy recovery. However, if delivery is delayed or left untreated, the baby may experience fetal distress due to inadequate oxygen supply, which can result in serious complications, including permanent neurological damage or even death. The mother may also be at increased risk of infection and other pregnancy-related complications. Therefore, immediate surgical management is strongly recommended to ensure the safety and well-being of both the mother and the baby.
