Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Roktim Biswas is a calm and cheerful 10-month-old baby boy who is deeply loved by his parents. His father, Rajesh Biswas, works as a day labourer and earns only BDT 6,000 per month, while his mother is a housewife, making it difficult for the family to afford both their daily needs and Roktim's medical treatment. After developing severe pneumonia, Roktim struggled to breathe, and without timely treatment, the infection could have become life-threatening and caused serious damage to his lungs. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema, whose support gave them hope when they had no means to pay for his treatment. With proper medical care, Roktim now has the chance to recover, grow up healthy, and enjoy a bright future with his family.
Medical history
Roktim Biswas was admitted to Seba Hospital on 17 June 2026 after suffering from fever, cold, cough, and difficulty breathing for several days. As his condition worsened, he required hospitalization and was kept under close observation by the medical team. During his stay, he received medicines, supportive care, and regular monitoring from doctors and nurses to help him recover from severe pneumonia. His condition gradually improved with treatment, and he was discharged on 24 June 2026 with medical advice for continued care at home. At the time of discharge, the patient’s family expressed their sincere gratitude to Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema and the Seba Hospital team for their support and care.
Outcome
According to the treating doctor, Roktim is expected to recover well with hospitalization, antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and other supportive treatment. These treatments will help clear the lung infection, improve his breathing, reduce fever and cough, and allow him to return to normal growth and development. However, if severe pneumonia is left untreated, the infection can spread rapidly, causing severe breathing problems, low oxygen levels, lung damage, and other life-threatening complications.
