Most. Shahajadi is a polite and resilient 21-year-old expectant mother who lives with her husband and her 60-year-old mother-in-law in a family of three, doing her best to care for her family despite their difficult circumstances. Her husband is the family's only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of approximately BDT 6,000, which is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities, leaving the family unable to afford the cost of emergency hospitalization, surgery, medicines, and delivery-related care. After learning about Helpster Charity through a medical staff member, the family sought assistance in the hope of ensuring a safe delivery for Shahajadi and her unborn baby. Despite exhausting their limited resources, they cannot continue her treatment without financial support. Without timely Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS), severe oligohydramnios may lead to umbilical cord compression, fetal distress, oxygen deprivation, stillbirth, emergency delivery, and other life-threatening complications that could endanger both the mother and her baby.

The recommended treatment for Most. Shahajadi is a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) under Spinal Anesthesia Block (SAB), as this offers the safest approach for delivering the baby while reducing the risks associated with oligohydramnios. Early surgical intervention is expected to result in a favorable outcome, allowing both the mother and the newborn to recover successfully with appropriate postoperative care. However, postponing the delivery or failing to provide timely treatment may lead to serious complications, including worsening fetal distress, severe umbilical cord compression, meconium aspiration, emergency operative delivery, and stillbirth. In addition, the mother may develop life-threatening complications such as prolonged labor, postpartum hemorrhage, severe infection, or other obstetric emergencies. Prompt surgical management is therefore essential to protect the health and lives of both the mother and her baby.
