Munam Shaharia Muiz is a cheerful and affectionate 4-year-old boy who loves playing with toys, watching cartoons, and spending time with his family. After a devastating road traffic accident, his parents' lives changed overnight as his father, a construction laborer earning only BDT 11,000 per month, struggled to support the family while facing the overwhelming cost of prolonged hospitalization, specialist care, and the surgery his son urgently needs. Munam suffered a severe head injury along with fractures of his right leg, and doctors have warned that without timely surgery and continued treatment, he could develop permanent disability, bone deformity, chronic pain, difficulty walking, serious infection, or life-threatening complications related to his injuries. The family learned about Helpster Charity through the hospital and Helpster volunteer Dr. Arpon, giving them hope when they had exhausted their financial resources. With timely surgery and continued medical care, Munam has the best chance to recover, walk again, return to a normal childhood, and fulfill his dreams

According to the treating doctors, Munam Shaharia Muiz has a good chance of making a full recovery if he continues with the recommended treatment and attends all scheduled follow-up visits. As he is a young child, his right tibia and fibula fracture is currently being managed conservatively with a long leg back slab (Plaster of Paris), which is often successful in children of his age. He has been advised to return after one month for a follow-up examination and X-ray to assess the healing of the fractured bones. If the fracture heals properly, he is expected to regain normal movement and continue growing without significant long-term complications.However, if the fracture does not heal satisfactorily or if follow-up care is not maintained, the bones may heal in an improper position, leading to limb deformity, chronic pain, difficulty walking, restricted movement, or permanent physical disability. In such a situation, surgical treatment may become necessary to restore proper alignment and function. Therefore, regular follow-up, timely evaluation, and adherence to the treating doctors' recommendations are essential to ensure the child's complete recovery and healthy physical development.
