Sani Hossain is a kind, cheerful, and resilient 8-year-old boy who dreams of returning to school and playing with other children despite the hardships he has faced. Because of extreme poverty, he lives in an orphanage, while his father, Emdadul Hossain, earns only BDT 8,000 per month as an agricultural laborer to support his wife, Fatema Akter, and Sani's two school-going brothers, making specialized orthopedic surgery completely unaffordable. After falling from a blackberry tree, Sani sustained a serious fracture to his right thigh, but his family could only afford temporary plaster treatment, leaving him in constant pain and unable to walk properly. They learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer ABM Alamgir, who became their source of hope when all other options had been exhausted. Without timely surgery, the fracture may heal incorrectly, causing permanent disability, chronic pain, difficulty walking, and the loss of his opportunity to continue his education and live an independent life.

The orthopedic team has planned to treat Sani Hossain with a hip spica cast to stabilize the fractured femur and allow the bone to heal in the correct position. With timely treatment, proper immobilization, regular follow-up, and rehabilitation, the doctors expect him to make a good recovery and gradually regain normal walking and daily activities. As a growing child, successful healing will help prevent long-term complications and allow him to return to school and enjoy a healthy childhood. However, if the fracture is left untreated or continues to heal improperly, he may develop permanent deformity, chronic pain, leg length discrepancy, difficulty walking, and lifelong physical disability.
