Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Munni Akther is a 17-year-old girl from a poor family where her father, Jamal Ahmed, earns only 6,000 BDT per month as a day labourer and is the primary provider for the household. Due to financial hardship, Munni had to leave school after Class 6, and the family struggles to meet even their basic daily needs. For the past eight months, she has suffered from a left inguinal hernia that caused increasing pain, swelling, and difficulty performing her normal activities, but her family could not afford the required treatment. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a Helpster volunteer, who informed them about the organization's support for vulnerable patients and guided them in seeking assistance. Without timely surgery, Munni's condition could become life-threatening due to strangulation of the hernia, causing severe pain, intestinal obstruction, and serious complications.
Prognosis
According to the treating physician, Munni Akther has a very good prognosis if she undergoes timely surgical repair and follows the recommended post-operative care. The surgery is expected to correct the hernia, relieve her pain and discomfort, and allow her to return to normal daily activities without limitations. With proper treatment and follow-up, she is likely to make a full recovery and enjoy an improved quality of life. However, if the hernia is left untreated, it may become trapped or strangulated, cutting off the blood supply to the affected tissue and causing a medical emergency. Such complications can lead to severe pain, intestinal obstruction, tissue damage, and may require urgent surgery, posing significant risks to her health and well-being.
