Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Abdur Rahman Rayan is a cheerful and innocent 9-month-old baby whose smile brings endless joy to his parents and four-year-old elder brother despite their difficult circumstances. His father, Md. Sabu Bhunyan, earns only BDT 8,500 per month as a mason and is the sole provider for the family while also helping support Rayan's grandmother, leaving them unable to afford the high cost of PICU care and lifesaving treatment. After his condition worsened despite a week of treatment at another hospital, Rayan was diagnosed with severe pneumonia with septicemia, leaving his family frightened and desperate to save their beloved child. The family was referred through a Helpster affiliate hospital, giving them hope when they had exhausted all other options. Without urgent intensive care, antibiotics, and oxygen support, the infection could rapidly lead to respiratory failure, septic shock, multiple organ failure, or even death, devastating a family that dreams of watching Rayan grow up healthy and alongside his elder brother.
Prognosis
With prompt PICU support, appropriate broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy, control of fever and respiratory distress, and correction of metabolic abnormalities, the child is expected to improve clinically and recover from severe pneumonia and sepsis. Close monitoring is essential because of his significant respiratory distress. If treatment is delayed or not provided, the infection may worsen and lead to severe breathing difficulty, worsening sepsis, organ dysfunction, and potentially life-threatening complications. Timely treatment is therefore critical for recovery and survival.
