Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTER

Roumari, Kurigram

Background

Ahad Babu is a nine-month-old child living with his father, mother, and seven-year-old brother in a family of four. His father is the only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of approximately BDT 7,000, which is insufficient to cover the family's basic needs as well as the cost of hospitalization, investigations, and treatment for his pneumonia. After learning about Helpster Charity through a staff member of CSDK, the family sought assistance in the hope of accessing the medical care Ahad urgently requires. Despite exhausting their limited resources, they are unable to continue his treatment without financial support. Without timely treatment, severe pneumonia can rapidly progress to respiratory failure, bloodstream infection (sepsis), permanent lung damage, or even death, placing Ahad's life at serious risk.

Prognosis

With timely administration of proper antibiotics, oxygen support, and supportive treatment, Ahad Babu’s pneumonia can be effectively controlled, leading to gradual improvement in his fever, cough, and breathing difficulties. Proper medical care will help stabilize his condition, support his recovery, and reduce the risk of complications. Close monitoring is essential to ensure any worsening of his condition is managed quickly. However, if left untreated, pneumonia may become severe and cause serious breathing problems and life-threatening complications, especially at his young age.
