Mohammad Mohtasil is a kind, hardworking, and determined 12-year-old Madrasha student who dreams of continuing his education and building a better future for his family. He lives with his parents and siblings in a family of four, while his father is the only earning member, working as a day laborer with a very limited income, making it impossible to afford the cost of hospitalization, medicines, and treatment for his severe pneumonia while meeting the family's basic needs. After learning about Helpster Charity from Health Worker Suraiya Khatun, the family sought help from Bablu Abdullah, who advised them to admit Mohtasil to Jamuna Clinic, giving them hope during this difficult time. Despite exhausting their limited resources, the family cannot continue his treatment without financial assistance. Without immediate treatment, severe pneumonia can rapidly progress to respiratory failure, bloodstream infection (sepsis), permanent lung damage, or even death, putting Mohtasil's life and future at serious risk.

Mohammad Mohtasil was admitted to Jamuna Clinic on July 14, 2026, with complaints of high fever, persistent cough, throat pain, and loss of appetite. Following a comprehensive medical evaluation, he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia. He received six days of inpatient treatment, including appropriate medical management and supportive care, during which his condition improved significantly. After achieving satisfactory clinical recovery, he was discharged in stable condition on July 20, 2026. Throughout his hospitalization, Mohtasil was accompanied and cared for by his mother, who remained by his side until his discharge. Upon discharge, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Bablu Abdullah for their compassionate care, guidance, and unwavering support throughout the treatment process. She also sincerely acknowledged the financial assistance provided by Helpster, stating that it played a crucial role in enabling timely access to quality medical care and contributed significantly to her son's successful treatment and recovery.

The treating doctor has recommended hospitalization, intravenous antibiotic therapy, nebulization, oxygen support if required, and other supportive treatment to control the infection, improve breathing, and stabilize Mohammad Mohtasil's condition. With timely treatment and close medical monitoring, the infection is expected to resolve, his fever will subside, breathing will become easier, and he should make a full recovery, allowing him to return to his normal daily activities and continue his education. Completing the full course of treatment and attending follow-up visits are essential to prevent recurrence and long-term complications.
