Most. Aki Akter is a caring, resilient, and hopeful 28-year-old mother who dreams of safely welcoming her second child and giving both of her children a brighter future despite their financial struggles. She lives with her husband and their young son, while her husband is the family's only earning member, working as a day laborer with an irregular income that is barely enough to meet their daily necessities, making it impossible to afford the cost of an urgent cesarean section. The family is still burdened by debts from her previous cesarean delivery and the financial loss associated with her previous pregnancy, leaving them with no savings for this high-risk pregnancy. After learning about Helpster Charity from Bablu Abdullah, Aki sought his support, and he visited their home to verify their financial hardship and guide them toward receiving lifesaving treatment. Without an urgent LUCS, both Aki and her unborn baby face a high risk of obstructed labor, fetal distress, severe bleeding, birth injury, stillbirth, and other life-threatening complications that could endanger both of their lives.

Most. Aki Akter was admitted to the hospital on July 21, 2026, with a diagnosis of breech presentation and a previous history of cesarean section. On the same day, she successfully underwent a Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS) and delivered a healthy baby boy. The procedure was completed successfully, and both the mother and the newborn remained in stable condition throughout their hospital stay. Following an uneventful postoperative recovery and routine neonatal care, both mother and baby were discharged in good health on July 26, 2026. At the time of discharge, Aki's father and sister came to the hospital to accompany the mother and newborn home. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. The treating obstetrician has recommended an urgent Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest delivery option because the baby is in a breech presentation, which significantly increases the risk of complications during vaginal delivery. With timely surgery, the baby can be delivered safely, greatly reducing the risk of birth injury, fetal distress, and complications while protecting the mother's health and improving the chances of a full recovery for both. If LUCS is delayed or not performed, both the mother and baby face a high risk of obstructed labor, severe bleeding, uterine rupture, fetal distress, birth injury, stillbirth, and other life-threatening complications that could endanger both of their lives.
