Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Mamun Rashid is a cheerful and playful 5-year-old boy who loves spending time with his parents and playing with his younger sister, Nusrath Jannath. His father, Mashuk Ahmed, earns only BDT 6,000 per month as a farmer and is the sole provider for the family, making it impossible to afford the cost of surgery while meeting their basic household needs. Over the past two years, the swelling in Mamun's groin gradually became larger and more painful, and doctors diagnosed him with a left inguinal hernia that now interferes with his ability to play and carry out normal childhood activities. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Redwan, giving them hope that Mamun can receive the treatment he urgently needs. Without timely surgery, the hernia could become trapped or strangulated, cutting off the blood supply to the intestine and leading to severe pain, intestinal damage, life-threatening complications, and the need for emergency surgery.

Prognosis

With timely surgical treatment, the child is expected to recover well and return to normal daily activities, including playing without the previous pain or discomfort. Herniotomy can correct the groin swelling and prevent further progression of the hernia. Appropriate postoperative care and follow-up will help support a smooth recovery. If left untreated, the hernia may continue to enlarge and cause increasing pain and difficulty with normal activities. In severe cases, the hernia may become trapped or strangulated, which can lead to serious complications requiring urgent surgery.
