Nusrat Jahan is a bright, cheerful, and determined 10-year-old girl who loves going to school and dreams of continuing her education to build a better future. She lives with her parents and siblings, while her father is the family's only earning member, working as a day laborer with a very limited income, making it impossible to afford the cost of hospital treatment and medicines while meeting the family's daily needs. The treating doctor has recommended hospitalization, parenteral (intravenous) antibiotic therapy, and supportive treatment to eliminate the infection, control the fever, and prevent serious complications. With timely treatment and close medical monitoring, Nusrat's condition is expected to improve steadily, allowing her to make a full recovery and return to her normal daily activities and education. Adequate hydration, proper nutrition, completion of the full antibiotic course, and regular follow-up are essential to ensure complete recovery and prevent relapse. If left untreated, typhoid fever can progress to severe dehydration, intestinal bleeding or perforation, bloodstream infection (sepsis), multiple organ complications, and even death, placing her life at significant risk.
