Manha is a 7-month-old girl who lives happily with her parents and two older brothers in a house made of tin sheets. She's the third child in the family. Manha is a very adorable girl who enjoys playing with her siblings. Her dad is the only one who works to support the family. Manha has been diagnosed with severe pneumonia. Her family learned about Helpster Charity from their neighbors and came to Naranganj Polyclinic to ask for free treatment because they're having a tough time financially and can't afford proper treatment for their kids.

Manha was suffering from severe pneumonia and presented to our facility with complaints of shortness of breath, rapid breathing, cough, cold, and fever. Due to the seriousness of her condition, she required emergency hospitalization. During her treatment, Manha received oxygen inhalation and nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, and budesonide. She was also given injectable antibiotics to address her critical state. Thankfully, she has made a significant recovery and is now back home with her parents, bringing them immense joy and relief.

Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications.
