Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Ibrahim is an eight-year-old boy from a poor family. He is playful and enjoys playing tricks on his friends. He dreams of becoming a journalist in the future. About two months ago, he began experiencing lower abdominal pain, painful and difficult urination. He was treated for this condition at another facility and felt some relief. Recently, he suddenly stopped urinating, and he was taken to the nearest medical facility where a catheter was inserted to relieve the retention. Surgery was recommended, but his family couldn't afford it. He was then referred to UMD clinic through Helpster Charity. After examination, he was diagnosed with a bladder stone and scheduled for surgery.
Medical history
Ibrahim is a an 8 year old boy who was presented to this facility with the complaints of Oliguria,dysuria,lower abdominal pain and restlessness due to bladder outlet obstruction.Radiological examination findings indicates bladder stone.He was catheterized and planned for elective surgery on 26/3/24.Had a successful Cystolithotomy and was discharged on 31/3/ 2024.Patient is now stable and feeling well.
Outcome
Treatment of larger bladder stones may require procedures such as lithotripsy (breaking the stones into smaller pieces using sound waves) or surgical removal. Additionally, measures to prevent the recurrence of bladder stones may include dietary changes, increased fluid intake, and addressing underlying conditions that contribute to stone formation.
