Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Fatima Isa is a one-year-and-a-half and she is the ninth child among nine siblings in the family. Her mother is Alhaji Musa's second wife. Until four days ago, Fatima seemed well. However, she developed a fever at night, causing her to cry throughout the night, though her temperature would cool down by morning. The following day, she started vomiting. They had previously visited a hospital but couldn't afford the prescribed medication due to financial constraints, until they learned about Helpster. Upon evaluation, Fatima was diagnosed with malaria, enteric fever, gastroenteritis, and acute respiratory infection (ARI).
Medical history
Fatima Ali, a young girl from Borno (Northern Nigeria), became critically ill with severe malaria and was rushed to the hospital. After days of intensive medical care, she made a full recovery. Her parents thanked the Helpster charity for covering the medical bills, saying their support saved Fatima’s life.
Outcome
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
