Moh'd, a five-year-old boy from a financially struggling family, enjoys watching cartoons and has a cheerful disposition. He dreams of becoming an engineer in the future. About a week ago, he began experiencing progressive abdominal swelling, vomiting, fever, and colicky abdominal pains. Upon seeking medical attention, he was evaluated and diagnosed with acute abdomen, with a suspicion of a ruptured appendix or typhoid perforation. He is scheduled for an emergency exploratory laparotomy.

Mohd Sheriff Mohd,was brought to this facility with the complaints of progressive abdominal swelling and pain,vomiting, diarrhea and preceding history of fever for the period of 5 days.Patient was subjected to preliminary investigations and was diagnosed of Acute Abdomen ? cause. He was admitted for emergency surgery on the 31/3/24.Inta operative findings shows multiple typhoid perforations at the ileum about 15cm from ileocaecal junction.Patient underwent a successful surgery and was discharged on 5/4/24. Patient is now stable and feeling much better.
